In many applications today, computers have become increasingly seamless extensions of who we are. It is no different in the creative world.

I’ve been researching techniques in parametric composition for over 20 years, and I have found it to be a means by which I can explain to a computer my compositional intentions … something of a musical style guide if you will … and then let it go create something.

The guidelines I set are demanding, in that they closely represent my personal language … but not so strict that, if I choose, every rendering of a script  may need not be the same. The results are often fascinating.

These are a few examples for your listening pleasure.
