Description
This is a new technique I’ve started working with. It’s new on a few levels.
One, I’m taking the generative scripting down to an intervallic level, and creating sets of pitch classes that can combine in as random or controlled a way as I like. I like something in between the two opposite extremes.
Second, I’m starting to look at randomly bringing voices in and out of “focus” with some pretty extreme reverb algorithms.
It’s a start. I like the result.

Jim: I really like Duet alot and was wondering is the piece more developed than the 2:28 sample on the site. I am looking for about a 6-7 piece for 8 women—-actually more like 4 duets.

Debi: that’s the wonderful thing about it . . . it is as developed as time permits, and each time renders differently. no two renderings are ever the same.
